BEHOLD I STAND AT THE DOOR AND KNOCK
Probably the most familiar picture of biblical significance is a passage from Revelation Chapter 3.It depicts Jesus standing outside a door, the door of our lives. If you notice there is no handle on the outside - this indicates that Jesus is not going to force His way into our lives, if we want Him in our lives, we must invite him in.
Once you have asked forgiveness for all our sin (wrongdoing) and ask Him to cleanse you from it and to proactively walk in fellowship with Him (worshipping and praising Him from the depths of your heart) then you will have had a wonderful experience and you are born again.
You need to learn to hear His voice, obey His teaching and grow in faith and fellowship with Him day by day. You will be given daily opportunity to know God more and He will draw ever closer to you.
This experience is called being born again and if you continue to praise Him from your heart every day you will be destined to spend eternity with Him.
But you have to do the seeking and remain faithful and be sure to worship nobody or anything else, trusting your entire future to Christ alone, then you are destined for life eternal with Him in heaven.
Heaven is a real place, so is hell if you see the study entitled "Vision in the night".
